Ian Burkhard, CPA

Ian Burkhard is a Financial Advisor at Capital Advantage. He is a licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant), an Investment Advisor Representative, and is working to obtain his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation. Ian is part of the investment team and is responsible for developing and maintaining client financial plans, portfolio management, and ongoing client communications.

Ian began his financial services career working for KPMG, one of the world’s leading providers of audit, tax, and advisory services. As a team member in the audit practice, he executed quarterly reviews and annual audits for both private and public companies. Ian joined the Capital Advantage team in 2021.

Ian grew up in the Sierra Nevada foothills and now lives in Walnut Creek, California. Outside of work, Ian enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, and cheering on the San Jose Sharks.
