Job Summary
Capital Advantage, Inc. is an established (40+ years) wealth management firm (RIA) headquartered in beautiful Walnut Creek, California. We are looking for a full time, experienced analyst with a strong ability to multi-task, solve problems, and operate under time constraints and pressure to join our team.
As an Investment Operations Associate, you will report directly to the Director of Investment Management and the Chief Compliance and Operating Officer.
Responsibilities include security analysis, asset allocation, trading, performance reporting/tracking, client billing/reconciliation, internal account setup/maintenance, and various compliance and operations-related tasks and projects.

Ideal Qualifications
- An exceptionally high level of attention to detail
- An understanding of the importance in following company policies and procedures, as well as abiding by SEC requirements
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited university—ideally concentrated within the areas of business, finance, or accounting
- Current Series 65 license or equivalent (or ability/willingness to attain within the first 6 months of employment)
- Experience working in the financial services industry and ideally, with account custodians (Schwab, Fidelity, etc.)
- Exceptional technical skills, including mastery of standard Microsoft 365 applications (Dynamics 365 knowledge would be a plus) and ideally, a trading application (i.e., Tamarac) and a project management application (i.e., ClickUp)
- A strong work ethic and a positive and personable demeanor
- Confidence in learning, setting up, and troubleshooting applications (and desire/ability to master new software)
